The LG Hydro Kit when connected with LG’s Multi V outdoor unit provides hot and cold water for various commercial and residential applications. This all-electric solution is available in both Medium and High Temperature offerings, and could provide cost savings and increased efficiency.

How it works

The LG Medium Temperature Hydro Kit uses a single-stage refrigerant-to-water heat exchanger to transfer waste energy from the MultiV™ outdoor units to a buildingʼs cooling or heating water applications. If youʼre looking for an LG Hydro Kit that provides solely hot water for residential and commercial water applications, the High Temperature option uses 2-stage cascade refrigerant-to-refrigerant and refrigerant-to-water heat exchangers to meet this requirement.

In addition, LG Hydro Kits can:

Provide hot water with less energy consumption than a conventional boiler. This hot water can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, radiators, floor heating, pools, etc.
Connect in a series or parallel for large applications.
Eliminate the need for gas connections or oil tanks, which are required when using boilers.
